been so very busy lately..anu pa ba bago?hahaha...anyway, this coming sunday, we will be having a photoshoot for gunslinger girl/. i will portray Angelica..the first experimental girl for the cybernetics project.
Angelica uses a Steyr AUG A2 - see that gun she holds? lolXDD
We are going to use an abandoned hospital as the shoot location in Sampaloc Manila. Its a place used for Airsoft, a CQB site.
Everyone is ready..5 child assassins and 3 fratellos only..sayang alang helshire at Raballo~ lol..ako nde pa, hahahahaXDD di ko nga alam anu isusuot ko kay angelica - something that will make me look a 12 year old kid! HAHAHAHAHAHAXDDD syeeet, eto ang challenge eh....OH WAIT, i have to wear something like a binder para nde halata yung boobs ko..hahahaXDDD
After this, i will be working for the Teresa cosplay..sana makaabot dahil balak ni Keiz na isali ang claymore sa isang event sa Rockwell na organize daw ni Alodia..lolXD ewan, parang di ko feel +_+..hahaha

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen onboard. We can live with that-—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That's no big problem-—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.
But hold on-—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: There are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as US$3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don't flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.
As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell everyone of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.
Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her Government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.
Oh yes. The Government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. They may have Barack Obama and the hawkish American military behind them, but we have a hostage in each of our homes in the Mid-Levels or higher. Some of my friends told me they have already declared a state of emergency at home. Their maids have been made to shout 'China, Madam/Sir' loudly whenever they hear the word "Spratly". They say the indoctrination is working as wonderfully as when we used to shout, "Long live Chairman Mao!" at the sight of a portrait of our Great Leader during the Cultural Revolution. I’m not sure if that's going a bit too far, at least for the time being.

And that's where, the arguments begin.
COSPLAYING IS DIFFERENT FROM A MASCOT
cosplay - costume play, is not just a person wearing a flashy and out of this world costumes and wigs...THERE IS SOMETHING THERE. a character is born ALIVE because of cosplay. ANd that, a COSPLAYER IS BEING transcended INTO BECOMING THAT CHARACTER. In a second-person-point-of-view...a cosplayer becomes the REALITY of the character. THE cosplayer on the other hand, BECOMES THE VESSEL OF A FICTIONAL CHARACTER. A cosplayer BECOMES THE CHARACTER.
A Mascot - is someone who wears a flashy costumes, but deep inside, ITS EMPTY. NO MEANING. You may've seen a mascot from parties. Wearing flashy dress, a wig, a make-up. But what? Just to attract attentions, to become different among the crowd.

Last night, i took some shots for the wings i made for our ZEro (my useless brother)..here's his wings
I made my little brother wear the wings - it has no harness yet, i was trying the wires i attached on the upper part between the wings for additional support when i attach the harness - i just temporarily attached them with the red ribbons (that's my ribbon for Houmei T__T).Just to get how big the wings, i made my niece stand behind the wings.

The very first things i do is to check my two emails..yahoo and our company email hosting.

Typically, because of our recent La Corda D'Oro Photoshoot last feb 21, I AM RED HAIR.
its been almost a month since then, pero people can't help staring at my head err hair..lolXDDD (though medyo faded and black hair started to be seen, still, its red..)
There were incident when,I can hear their comments!
Like, when i met Vany in Gateway mall, i was sitting in starbucks area when a group of students giggling behind me and says "tignan mo o, paramore!!" Lol, (T__T i ponytailed my hair that time so as not to attract to much attention but still)
Then, every morning, a group of little brats, err i mean kids..was playing when i passed them, they said, "pare tignan mo o! astig, parang GANGSTER!"
lolXDD i did try not to laugh. But I can't help it but give those kids a smile..lolXDD
Then, when i passed along Insular building, people keep staring at me. (AM i THAT WEIRD?? Or they just can't believe that there are really people who had the guts to be different among the rest..hahahaXDDD)
There was also this incident when i went into Metrobank, i was asking the guard on how to pay on something..he keeps on stumbling his words..nauutal xa ang he can't seem to focus..lolXDD i just thanked him and find my way into the counter.. then he said "Ma'am ang ganda ksi ng color ng hair nyo.." UHh..i just said thank you...LOLOLOLXDDDD

First and foremost, WE ARE NOT VIOLINIST. nor we have proper lessons on violin, nor a simple "how to hold the violin properly" study ..To tell the truth, myself, last Feb.21 was the first time i hold a violin in my entire life.
Constructive criticism, im aware of that. Giving the flaws there and that. I could learn a one or two from there. I even thought now, "maybe we should have an advance study on how to hold the violin properly so that violinist will be satisfied on the photoshoot"..lol..its a lesson learned. There.
But it doesn't give them the right to bash our shoot. We are cosplayers. NOT VIOLINIST. There's a big difference there. Maybe, we admit, we are not that prepared for the La Corda shoot after all. Which is the truth. We lack 2 more characters. We lack 2 more instruments. But this is cosplay. We like to portray the characters.
I know, our characters are musicians, we got a lot flaws. I can even notice that Nami doesn't even know how to hold the flute. Or that, our Fuyuumi was supposedly holding a Clarinet, not a bamboo flute.
Give it a rest people. We are enjoying it. We don't live and do this to give you satisfaction on your little egoistic attitudes. As i said before. WE ARE NOT VIOLINIST nor MUSICIANS. WE ARE COSPLAYERS.
Planning a photoshoot was..uhmm..both hard and well, fun, frustrated and a learning road all roll into one. I was really thankful to those who helped all the way, to Bel who is always beside me on my every plan, who even bugged other people just to borrow an instrument we need..lolXDDD
What's so frustrating about this project is that, we actually planned this 1 and half months, i think, just enough or even more time to do the preparations. But, i don't know what happened, our uniforms were handed to us 2 days before the photoshoot day. And some were not even prepared! Like the instruments and the accessories to use..i mean, i didn't fail to remind them every now and then. Some, even make excuses that they have to attend this and that..i mean, i gave the invitation one and half months prior to the actual date of the shoot, so there are a lot of time to do the things you have to do and set the proper time you have agreed and committed. deshou? At least be honest of what you committed, setting aside the word "professionalism" if you don't have that thing at all!
Anyway, the photoshoot went so well, even if there are a few "minor" on the spot preparations...at least we made it.
La Corda D'Oro~ a story about classical music. The title's meaning is "the golden string"..or
what is supposed to describe the only golden string in Hino Kahoko's magic violin. It maybe about classical music, or talks about Chopin, Mozart, Lizst...but the story is actually great..i mean for those who appreciate both anime and classical into one.
For the characters of the shoot, we missed two great guy characters..my other favorite (aside from Len) is the trumpet-guy Hihara-sempai, and the pianist-turn-soccerplayer-turn-pianist again, Ryotarou Tsuchiura..
One actually signed up as Ryutarou, but he didn't make it despite the words he gave to me that he will come late..oh well.
Another thing was, we lacked one violin, thanks to the promises of the one who said she would lend it..gaaah~
A very special mention to Kiko and Harvey for accepting our invitations as our exclusive photographer that day~ heheee...actually, nahihiya lang ako sa ibang photogs and these two macho guys are the only ones i know and comfortable to work with..hahahaaXDDD..They are so good! so very very good and the best...i could not ask for more of them. In the actual activity, they will even help you what to do, what your poses, where to look...hahahaXDDD..

Bel as Nami Amou - who came to the venue 2 hours late! i told her to come early coz, the other's uniforms was within her custody! Who came with her eyes puffy because she said she had a hard time putting on her contact lenses! XDDDD
