Because im happy that i finally RECOVERED my files on the said shoot, im gonna post a quick preview of our recent Code Geass shoot last week-end.

Yes, I almost lost of my shots in the CG shoot T__T, buti na lang may nag-imbento ng mga kung anu-anung anik-anik kaya na recover ko pa mga to..T__T. That is, a few photos were really corrupted na but i was glad, i did multiple shots on every poses.

yes, Kaichou wa Maid-sama (The President is a maid) will have an anime adoptation to be aired in TBS on spring of 2010. Sypnosis: Once an all boys school, Seika High, a renowned school full of reckless and filthy students, has recently become a co-ed school. However, with the female population still remaining a minority even after the change over the recent years, Misaki Ayuzawa takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow a chance for the girls to feel safer in the rough environment. Training, studying and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation among the male students body as an uptight boy-hating dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid cafe in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her secret is soon revealed when the somewhat impassive Usui Takumi, a popular boy at school, nonchalantly discovers her in a maid uniform after school. === One of teh manga i followed every month's released (currently at vol 10 ch 44) and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to look and watch Misaki - is very like Rukia - only a Tsundere type girl, very manly (and scary student council president). Usui - so very cool! There is a mystery behind his coolness. And he's the only guy who can match The Pres..(She always call him 'perverted sexual-harassing outer space human' because literally, Usui seems don't care much on his surroundings) The biggest conflict would be, since Misa-chan is the tough chick in the school, and every boys there is so scared of him, what would happen if the boys found out that their tough Pres is a maid in an otaku cafe (Maido)? - promise, the plot is so cute and good. And there are a lot of funny scenes too. When rated from 1-10 - 10 being the highest - i say its 9

I feel really irate today. Dunno if its because of lack of sleep, or something. But i don't want to accept Harvey's reasoning at all. I don't want to talk back so i just log-off from FB's chat window.

Its about a blog i constantly visit for humor's sake. Two acquaintances i know are either featured there and or being talked badly over there. The thing is I KNOW them, and i would be hypocrite if i'd say, i didn't mind that satiric blog. For the simple reason that what's written there are not true.

I informed him of that, just to INFORM. I don't have any plans to 'feed the troll' or something like that, or tell the parties involve about it (yeah, they will find it sooner or later without me telling them) but it seems and feels that ako pa may kasalanan because I inform him. Ahhgg, i don't get it. He's saying that reading and 'being a follower' will only feed the trolls. Honestly, i may be stupid but what's wrong of reading that demon's satiric blog? I find it amusing and entertaining, yet informative. Reading it wouldn't feed the trolls right? He may know that visitor's stumbled upon his page by counter hits, but if I didn't comment there or something, am i still feeding the trolls? Maybe yes, maybe no. Dunno. Im just disappointed that's all.

Which reminds me, he says that sooner or later, i would find a member of my clan being featured there. Reality check? I don't really care. So what if one day i would found out that that demon is bad-mouthing a member of mine. Im not that stupid to satisfy his fantasies and give-in to his satanic complains over something so trivial.

I shouldn't have informed him.

Its been almost a week since Mangaholix. We really did have a blast from that recent event. Our clan, Philippine Otaku Society did compete in the ClanWars category - commonly known as Group cosplay category of any events. Our group cosplayed characters from Code Geass.

We won 2nd place. And by default, all the entries are winners. Because only 3 groups did confirmed the registration - out of 7 pre registrants. LOL, Funny, yet im quite annoyed by that fact. Personally, i can't feel the challenge in that recent event. I have this feeling that i was betrayed. hahaha

Out of the 3 groups, we are the ONLY group who are categorized as a true CLAN, . 2nd, we cosplay from ONE SERIES only.
Natalo ang group dahil sa lumang patawa. LOL! Of which the judges, 'unnoticeably' didn't bother to check the first groups time limit on the stage. Honestly, we and the 2nd group did follow the 5-minute only rule. There, enough said - anyway - its done, and there's nothing we can do about it. So much for my last cosplay for this year.

Looking back over this whole year, i have only cosplayed twice, The first one was Houmei of Shining Tears x Wind, and the last one is Anya Alstreim of Code Geass. I'm less productive on cosplay for this year huh.

Anyway, i\ve decided that i\ll retire on competitions. I'll focused my self on personal cosplay shoots instead and being a photographer. Cosplay these days seemed so empty and barren. I can't feel the fun on competitions anymore.

Before, i posted that there is an extra episode of Kuroshitsuji. Fans call it the OAV or Episode 25 - unfortunately, it was not aired (that's why its OAV..haha), and was only included in the DVD 9.

Fans are still waiting for its English subbed. REJOICE Kuro fans. A great guy just subbed this. YAY~ Thanks to AKAGAMI of Bleach Asylum! He subbed and translated this for us.

Sono Shitsuji - Kougyou (That butler  - show business)

Summary - the story is about the whole gang, acting on a stageplay, Shakespeare's Hamlet...a tragic story of revenge. But instead of being a tragic story, the play becomes whacky and comedy.



You will love Grell in this...you will really laugh your *ss out!. He plays as Ophelia, Hamlet's lover who was killed by his father, who happens to be Agni.
Ciel plays as Hamlet, Tanaka-san as his father the King, who was killed by his uncle Claudios who was played by Lao, who become the king and marries Hamlet's mother the queen, who was played by the Undertaker. 

And the children really love the part where, when Ophelia was killed by his father (Agni) who couldn't take the incentous desire (again) of Ophelia err..Grell (you'll realize it). Elizabeth plays the bodyguard of his father. And well, RanMao is a character under the sea, SEAWEED!

Bard and Meilin are the make up artist and errand man. Finni is the narrator, and Soma..well, he has no role coz at the time of the practice, he was eating curry! So he became the lights man instead..hahahaXDDD

I am very anxious on the upcoming con. Basically its the event that makes me unsettle now. My team is going to compete on the  group cosplay category. My costume is still half-way done. I still need a lot of things to do and to look for. I still need to find the black gloves, still need to style my wig and my friends wig, and still need to buy the boots. Not only that, i still need to attend my sister's need on her cosplay as well coz she will also participate within my team. The worst is that, my team and i were arguing on the cosplay skit.

My first project proposal for the skit was a re-enactment of the series, squeezing 50 episodes into a 5 minute skit - how hard is that??? TERRIBLE! ok, fine. I've made a draft on it and separated the skit into 7-acts. But when i manipulated the scoring and dubbing - 2 acts alone consumes 2:22 minutes! So where should i put the remaining 5 acts???

So i scraped the re-enactment idea. I made another one where all the characters are not sacrificed. Yet, it seems some of them didn't liked it. I feel so frustrated and bland. So im refraining on giving the ideas on that skit - bahala na si batman.

This coming saturday, we will be having the initial meeting. We will talk about the team's standing, plans, progress on the costumes, and the skit. If majority agrees on the second proposed skit - then we might proceed on the actual dialogue recording. We might even revised the draft of the lines i initially laid to them. Anyway - they can put any lines on it., the way they want it. Im keeping my hand-off from it. My life is so full of complications as of now...and i don't want a damn arguments on some silly plans on the skit!

Last Oct.2 - we just had our Annual Physical exam. As usual, i only made myself available to the exams i want to - like the physical exams (checking of the breast - gaaah~ can't believe someone is touching them aside me!), Blood typing (yay, finally, now i knew my blood type!), Urine and stool (I did not submit stool, hehehe), and the X-ray and Eye exam (got a 20/20- but i still asked the doctor my eyes did hurt so bad after a long time staring in front of the PC) - so the doctor signed me up for a multi-coated glasses. So here I am, wearing glasses. = =

I still remember the doctor recommended me to go check an Ob-Gyne. I told her i was an irregular, and guess what she told me? " You will have a hard time bearing a child y'know" - i was about to tell her - " yeah, i know, i learn that at school and by reading y'know - so im not stupid on my condition." But i just keep my mouth shut ^^.

I unwantedly got that "irregular menstruation" from my mother. My other sister Kim was also an irregular. But the doctor says it must be a Hormonal Imbalance. whatever.

Honestly, i don't want to go and see Doctors. Not that i don't have trust on them or had any bad experience from them. Its just that. Whenever i heard about doctor's, "touching" always accompanies with it. And i don't like to be TOUCHED. My first physical exam was a great struggle, because when i learn that my chest is going to be touch, i really panicked! I don't want any other people, even a relative (mother/sister) touch me.

i just learn a great deal from watching its original video. Now i know that the one showing around local tv shows really sucked. They stripped-off great deals of facts!

Anyway - a few facts i learn

On Yusuke Urameshi - is the son of Raizen, but many will thought, Raizen is his father. Yes, but not directly. Raizen is his forefather (ninuno/ ancestor). Remember Raizen has had an affair of a human girl. Impregnates her. Well, here's what it is - Yusuke is his son, thru the great genetic atavism - meaning Raizen's genes, will not show on the first generations or even the next succeeding generations..but on a certain generation of descendants only. Meaning, on a few folds of generations, Raizen's genes (being he a demon) will not show - but still, they are there. The descendant will only be "carriers" of his genes, until it will show on the next generations. Yusuke happens to be the hereditary Genetic Atavism of Raizen. He is the 44th generation descendant of Raizen.

On Hiei and The snow people - Glacier country is the home of snow people, all of them are women. No males. Glacier country is so hard to find, because its floating in the sky, changes its location every now and then and hides beyond thick clouds. That's why Hiei has to go under a surgery to put a Jagan (3rd Eye) to be able to find it (its one of the 2 things he needs to find, the other is his Hirui stone he lost). Anyway - snow people asexually multiplies themselves, and their offspring are all females too. That's how they propagates. But then, if a woman has had sex with a male, they will bear twins, a boy and a girl..or just a boy. In the case of Hina, who falls inlove with a male (presumably a demon associated with fire - based on Hiei), bear children (Hiei and Yukina). But then, in the glacier country, bearing a male child is abominable to them and will only bring misfortune. That's why, Hiei was cast away.

On Kurama/Yoko - Kurama's step-brother is not his biological brother. They also bear the same first name (ironically) of Shuichi (Shuichi Minamino and Shuichi Hatanaka) - Shuichi Hatanaka is the son of Mr. Hatanaka on his first wife.
Hiei and Kurama first met when Kurama is only 10 yrs old (4th grade) and was the time around when his Makai power returned.
Yoko's white robe serves as his shield.
The first girl who proposed his feelings towards Kurama is his classmates Maya Kitajima. Too bad he erases her memory. (bleh)

Share ko lang, worth a lot of considerations.^^






I. Anyone in a public place can take pictures of anything they want. Public places include parks, sidewalks, malls, etc. Malls? Yeah. Even though it's technically private property, being open to the public makes it public space.

II. If you are on public property, you can take pictures of private property. If a building, for example, is visible from the sidewalk, it's fair game.

III. If you are on private property and are asked not to take pictures, you are obligated to honor that request. This includes posted signs.

IV. Sensitive government buildings (military bases, nuclear facilities) can prohibit photography if it is deemed a threat to national security.

V. People can be photographed if they are in public (without their consent) unless they have secluded themselves and can expect a reasonable degree of privacy. Kids swimming in a fountain? Okay. Somebody entering their PIN at the ATM? Not okay.

VI. The following can almost always be photographed from public places, despite popular opinion:

* accident & fire scenes, criminal activities
* bridges & other infrastructure, transportation facilities (i.e. airports)
* industrial facilities, Superfund sites
* public utilities, residential & commercial buildings
* children, celebrities, law enforcement officers
* UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster, Chuck Norris

VII. Although security  is often given as the reason somebody doesn't want you to take photos, it 's rarely valid. Taking a photo of a publicly visible subject does not constitute terrorism, nor does it infringe on a company's trade secrets.

VIII. If you are challenged, you do not have to explain why you are taking pictures, nor to you have to disclose your identity (except in some cases when questioned by a law enforcement officer.)

IX. Private parties have very limited rights to detain you against your will, and can be subject to legal action if they harass you.

X. If someone tries to confiscate your camera and/or film, you don't have to give it to them. If they take it by force or threaten you, they can be liable for things like theft and coercion. Even law enforcement officers need a court order.


What To Do If You're Confronted

* Be respectful and polite. Use good judgement and don't escalate the situation.
* If the person becomes combative or difficult, think about calling the police.
* Threats, detention, and taking your camera are all grounds for legal or civil actions on your part. Be sure to get the person's name, employer, and what legal grounds they claim for their actions.
* If you don't want to involve the authorities, go above the person's head to their supervisor or their company's public relations department.
* Call your local TV and radio stations and see if they want to do a story about your civil liberties.
* Put the story on the web yourself if need be.

The solar eclipse that will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 will be a total eclipse of the Sun.

It will be the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century, lasting at greatest eclipse 6 minutes, 39 seconds, it has sparked tourist interest in eastern China and India.^[1][2][3].

The eclipse is part of series 136 in the Saros cycle, like the record setting Solar eclipse of July 11, 1991.

The exceptional duration is a result of the moon being near perigee, with the diameter of the moon 8% larger than the sun (magnitude 1.080).

This is second in the series of three eclipses in a month. There was a lunar eclipse on July 7 and now a solar eclipse on July 22 and then a lunar eclipse on August 6.

 

Visibility

It will be visible from a narrow corridor through northern India, eastern Nepal, northern Bangladesh, Bhutan, the northern tip of Myanmar, central China and the Pacific Ocean, including the Ryukyu Islands, Marshall Islands and Kiribati.

We are going to use an abandoned hospital as the shoot location in Sampaloc Manila. Its a place used for Airsoft, a CQB site.

Everyone is ready..5 child assassins and 3 fratellos only..sayang alang helshire at Raballo~ lol..ako nde pa, hahahahaXDD di ko nga alam anu isusuot ko kay angelica - something that will make me look a 12 year old kid! HAHAHAHAHAHAXDDD syeeet, eto ang challenge eh....OH WAIT, i have to wear something like a binder para nde halata yung boobs ko..hahahaXDDD



After this, i will be working for the Teresa cosplay..sana makaabot dahil balak ni Keiz na isali ang claymore sa isang event sa Rockwell na organize daw ni Alodia..lolXD ewan, parang di ko feel +_+..hahaha


Im still half way with the gunblade commissioned for Annaline Ong of Davao City - ..gaah~ nag search ako ng mga gunblade ni Lightning, ampupu, amfanget~ hahaha

Due to Philippines claim over the Spratly Islands which China also claims, a Chinese writer by the name of Chip Tsao published a story in the HK Magazine of the Asia City Publishing Group, calling the Philippines a "nation of servants".

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen onboard. We can live with that-—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That's no big problem-—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.

But hold on-—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: There are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as US$3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don't flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.

As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell everyone of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.

 

Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her Government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.

Oh yes. The Government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. COSPLAY

for me is "something you want to be the character, to become one, to make the character a REALITY"

in short, since its a mere fact that characters we love didn't exist, we want them to come ALIVE, thus stepping in a world so different from reality.

many says, cosplaying is a way to escape reality, maybe...

but cosplaying is not just mere dressing up. THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN JUST WEARING A COSTUME.

its a different level of art. of love

many nowadays..maka suot lang ng pinatahing costume, nakasuot lang ng wig at colored contact lenses, COSPLAYER NA.

And that's where, the arguments begin.

COSPLAYING IS DIFFERENT FROM A MASCOT

cosplay - costume play, is not just a person wearing a flashy and out of this world costumes and wigs...THERE IS SOMETHING THERE. a character is born ALIVE because of cosplay. ANd that, a COSPLAYER IS BEING transcended INTO BECOMING THAT CHARACTER. In a second-person-point-of-view...a cosplayer becomes the REALITY of the character. THE cosplayer on the other hand, BECOMES THE VESSEL OF A FICTIONAL CHARACTER. A cosplayer BECOMES THE CHARACTER.


A Mascot - is someone who wears a flashy costumes, but deep inside, ITS EMPTY. NO MEANING. You may've seen a mascot from parties. Wearing flashy dress, a wig, a  make-up. But what? Just to attract attentions, to become different among the crowd.

Last night, i took some shots for the wings i made for our ZEro (my useless brother)..here's his wings

I made my little brother wear the wings - it has no harness yet, i was trying the wires i attached on the upper part between the wings for additional support when i attach the harness - i just temporarily attached them with the red ribbons (that's my ribbon for Houmei T__T).

Just to get how big the wings, i made my niece stand behind the wings.
